Chapter 93 Alex's New Experience
Chapter 93 Alex's New Experience
Running up the stairs from the 70th floor to the underground parking lot, Li Wei did not encounter any ambushes.
But this didn't stop Li Wei from continuing to treat Alex with a mix of pulling and kicking throughout the journey.
So much so that by the time they reached the underground parking lot, Alex's originally impeccably tailored suit had become a retro-style "beggar's outfit."
Alex, who had maintained his composure and elegance since his first appearance, finally couldn't stand this "abuse" of money anymore.
"Mr. Li Wei, I've been cooperating with you from beginning to end. But haven't you... been a little too rude?"
Although it was an expression of dissatisfaction, that "elitist attitude" seemed to be ingrained in their very being.
So much so that his complaint didn't sound very forceful; it was more like a customer politely and subtly expressing his dissatisfaction with the food.
Li Wei, on the other hand, is like a chef whose skills are questioned, so much so that he carries his tools out of the kitchen to grow food.
Li Wei slammed a spatula—no, a spear—onto the back of Alex's head.
The force wasn't particularly great, but it was enough to make Alex feel a sharp pain.
Before Alex could speak, Levi interrupted, "Hand over the car keys and tell me Lawrence's location. Otherwise..."
Before Li Wei could finish speaking, Alex, quite sensibly, walked to a silver-gray Audi A8L Smart and placed his hand on the fingerprint lock.
"Beep beep!"
The hazard lights on the car flashed simultaneously, and the car door was then ejected.
"Lawrence is at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel across the bay."
Alex's cooperative attitude made Levi suspect that he was cheating.
"You probably think I'm cheating right now, but believe it or not, it's true."
Alex behaved like some kind of "heart worm".
This clearly fueled Li Wei's suspicions.
However, Li Wei had his own way of dealing with it.
He put down the three travel bags on his back and opened one of them.
The first thing that catches the eye is a finely crafted AK-47.
To what extent is it meticulously crafted?
The gunstocks are all made of mahogany!
Although Li Wei wasn't very familiar with Warsaw Pact equipment, he could tell at a glance that this thing was definitely not one of those crudely made imitations, but an original product from the Soviet Union's "global blood transfusion" during the Cold War!
This thing can be described as an extremely practical art collection.
So much so that Li Wei was somewhat reluctant to destroy its integrity.
Fortunately, he found an AKS-74U in the second bag.
This thing isn't that meaningful anymore. Without any qualms, Levi removed the gun strap, tied one end to his wrist and the other end to Alex's wrist.
Then, he put the pistol back on his waistband, picked up the original AK-47, and cocked it.
"Splash!"
The gun was pointed at Alex.
"Put the travel bag in the car."
Just kidding, with such good free labor, why would you need to do the work yourself?
Alex's eyes were filled with disbelief.
"are you serious?"
Alex was so surprised that he forgot to address him as "Mr. Levi".
Levi nudged Alex's lower back with the muzzle of his gun.
Do I look like I'm joking?
"Hurry! Get moving! Those people upstairs attending the wedding have probably already called the police! We don't have much time!"
Alex looked at him strangely.
"us?"
"Of course! Don't worry, I'll definitely take care of you before I die!"
Li Wei acted as if it were perfectly natural.
Alex looked helpless, but he didn't slow down at all.
This time, Li Wei wasn't surprised at all.
Although he was not from the "elite class," he had a lot of contact with these guys during the peacekeeping period.
Without a doubt, these guys have never considered themselves as "the same kind" as ordinary people.
This arrogance makes them absolutely unwilling to "perish together" with ordinary people.
And these guys are very good at finding excuses for themselves.
They will abandon the packaging as "sacrifice" and regard "admitting defeat" as "rationality".
Therefore, they can let innocent people die without hesitation, just like they abandoned Li Wei in the past.
Alternatively, one could obediently do hard labor under the gun, just like Alex in front of us.
Just as Alex, panting, stuffed three travel bags into the back seat of the Audi A8L, Levi pulled on the gun strap on his wrist as if he were walking a dog.
Alex was pulled so hard he stumbled and nearly fell.
After Alex finally managed to steady himself in the driver's seat, Levi kicked him in the waist.
Alex, who was clearly a head shorter and thinner than Levi, leaped into the air, flew into the car, passed over the driver's seat, and slammed into the passenger door with a "thud!"
Despite the hard fall, Alex did not lose consciousness.
This guy... is much stronger than he looks?
Levi was somewhat surprised by Alex's resilience, but this did not hinder his subsequent actions.
He climbed into the driver's seat, gripped the AK-47 in one hand, and pointed the muzzle at Alex's chest.
In the passenger seat, Alex swayed, his head spinning.
After regaining his senses, he glanced at the dark muzzle of the gun, then without uttering a word, very conscientiously fastened the passenger seatbelt.
He didn't forget to add a "reminder".
Please remember to drive safely.
Alex seemed genuinely angry at Levi's kick.
This time, he clearly didn't forget; he simply didn't want to add the title "Mr. Li Wei."
Li Wei didn't seem to care much, but he did give a word of advice.
"Now I'm pointing a gun at you, so please get used to my pace."
Levi's politeness made Alex a little uncomfortable, so much so that he didn't react for a moment.
However, he immediately realized that Li Wei was laying the groundwork for his impolite behavior later.
After pressing the start button, Li Wei immediately shifted into drive and floored the accelerator.
"Buzz—Boom!"
With the engine roaring like a wounded beast, the Audi A8L sped out of the parking space and accelerated to 160 mph within seconds.
Almost in the blink of an eye, Alex realized he was about to crash into the wall.
"ah!!!"
Alex finally lost his elegance and composure, like a virgin cornered by a thug, gripping the passenger seat armrest tightly with both hands, screaming in terror.
Li Wei, however, calmly applied the brakes repeatedly and sharply turned the steering wheel with one hand.
At the critical moment, the car swerved sideways, and its right side crashed into the wall with moderate force.
Li Wei released the brakes and floored the accelerator again.
"Buzz!"
Amidst the high-speed hum of the engine, it sped off again, hugging the wall tightly.
"Sizzle!"
Amidst the burning sparks, the once brand-new Audi A8L was not only deformed on the right side, but its paint was almost completely scratched off.
Alex stopped screaming after the Audi A8L crashed through the guardrail and onto the road, staring blankly at the broken rearview mirror on the passenger side.
Just like... Danielle.
