Robin kept nagging the whole way; judging from her expression, she really didn't want her grandmother to attend her parent-teacher conference.

Xiaobai didn't give a clear answer, after all, she couldn't win against her aunt. If she promised her niece but couldn't keep her promise, wouldn't that disappoint her?

Robin Bai, still uneasy about not getting a clear answer from his aunt, sneaked over to Liu Liu when she arrived and secretly handed her the parent-teacher conference invitation, saying he wanted her to attend.

Before Liuliu could explain, Robin rushed to find Xiaobai, giving Liuliu no chance to argue.

Robin took on the task and, like a dog, wandered around Little Red Pony Academy, her eyes scanning everywhere, not even an ant could escape her notice.

The evening breeze in February gently tapped against the glass windows of Little Red Horse Academy, and the warm lights in the classrooms turned the carpet a honey color.

Xiaobai met up with Xiaomi. Each of them was holding a blue notebook and the other was clutching a thermos full of hot milk. They stood in a corner of the classroom, observing the children playing.

Xiaomi glanced around the classroom while occasionally glancing down at her notebook. She said to Xiaobai, "After the New Year, twenty new students came to Little Red Horse Academy. There are twelve boys and eight girls. They're all here tonight."

Xiao Bai's eyes kept scanning around the classroom. She quickly moved on from familiar faces, but lingered a little longer on the new ones.

Tonight, she and Xiaomi plan to have in-depth conversations with the new children, chat with them, enhance their sense of belonging and security, and also learn about their families and lives.

This is not a required procedure at Little Red Pony Academy, and no one requires them to do it this way.

This was a decision made by the two of them after discussing it themselves, in order to help them adapt to life with the little red horse more quickly.

The two quickly chose their first conversation partner, a little girl with pigtails sitting in the block area.

The little girl is looking down and building a crooked little house with wooden blocks.

Xiao Bai slowed his pace and walked over, squatted down beside her, and asked softly, "Hello, what are you doing?"

The little girl looked up, her eyes like two round, black grapes, and whispered, "I'm building a little house."

Xiaobai glanced at the little house she had built and said, "It's a bit crooked."

The little girl giggled, a little shyly saying, "I don't really know how to build houses yet."

"It's okay, you've done a great job building a small house for the first time. By the way, what's your name? My name is Xiaobai, and her name is Xiaomi."

The little girl tilted her head and looked at Xiaomi, revealing her white teeth. She smiled and said, "I know you. You are the older sisters here. Xiaoxiao told me."

"Yes, by the way, my name is Duoduo. My mom said there are many children here, and she wants me to play with them."

Xiaomi put down her thermos and used colored pens to draw a window on a building block while chatting with Duoduo, asking her about her family situation. Xiaobai quickly took notes.
