Chapter 1986 - 1975: Take Me Home
Chapter 1986 - 1975: Take Me Home
"Then my Divine Power mutated, and then it entered your body, forming a crystal.""What!"
The Black Dragon roared loudly, his voice rising, "My Dragon Crystal was created by you?"
"You could say that."
"So you were the one behind this."
The Black Dragon's scarlet pupils fixedly stared at Ning Fan, a violent aura rising like a devil showing its claws.
Ning Fan's expression turned cold as he calmly said, "I think you need to cool down a bit."
"You..."
It seemed to vent his anger, the Black Dragon spewed several columns of fire from its nostrils. After a while, he finally said, "Then help me remove it, and we'll let bygones be bygones."
"Don't you understand yet?"
Ning Fan shook his head, "Whether it was the first time or the second, I never intended to save you. My Divine Power losing control caused this situation."
"Why should I trust you?"
"Whether you trust me or not is your concern. Anyway, that's how things are."
"Then what should I do now?"
The Black Dragon lowered its head, feeling disheartened, then suddenly lifted it, yelling, "It's all your fault. You're the one who harmed me."
Ning Fan's face darkened, and he said bluntly, "You better clarify who's harming whom."
This new body is good, but at the thought of the vanished Golden Core, Ning Fan was furious, "The first time, I saved you with good intentions. If it weren't for you using the Forbidden Spell, how could things have turned out like this?"
"I..."
The Black Dragon was at a loss for words.
Indeed, as Ning Fan said, if it hadn't initiated the conflict, there wouldn't have been the thought of using the Forbidden Spell, and this situation wouldn't have occurred.
Ning Fan abruptly interjected, "What do you mean 'I'? You deserve this."
"Do you really have no solution?"
The Black Dragon didn't want to pursue who was at fault anymore; he just wanted to escape his current situation.
"There's no solution. The Divine Power has taken root in your body, and I can't neutralize this power."
After contemplating, Ning Fan added, "Now I can only use spiritual power as a shield to spare you from the suffering caused by the Divine Power."
Ning Fan wasn't lying. Although the Light of Life was still under the guidance of spiritual power, the departed power could never return.
"Hmph, you want to control me in this way."
The Black Dragon said coldly, "Don't dream of it. The Dragon Clan will never be driven by mortals."
"Foolishly arrogant. You were the one begging me from the start."
Ning Fan turned his head to leave, throwing out a sentence, "Then we'll go our separate ways."
"You..."
Watching Ning Fan's departing figure, the Black Dragon didn't know what to do.
At this moment, sensing changes within, the Black Dragon quickly roared, "You mustn't leave."
"Of course I won't leave."
Ning Fan smirked secretly, without any intention of stopping, as he continued walking forward, unfazed.
A strong airflow blew past, and the Black Dragon's massive body blocked Ning Fan's path.
Ning Fan spoke first, "Blocking me is useless. I can't help you."
"You need to be responsible for me."
Only Ning Fan's spiritual power could suppress the out-of-control Divine Power, and until a solution was found, the Black Dragon couldn't let him leave.
"I won't be responsible for anything. You brought this on yourself."
Ning Fan hurriedly clarified this relationship, he didn't want to take the blame.
"If only you were a bit more rational, there wouldn't be any conflict between us, do you understand?"
The Black Dragon, knowing it was at fault, lowered its head, understanding this truth in the Forbidden Spell Space but unwilling to admit it.
After leaving the Forbidden Spell Space, the inexplicably revived Black Dragon never thought of killing Ning Fan, he just wanted to teach him a lesson.
This lesson was merely to vent some anger, and the Black Dragon even planned to give Ning Fan some Dragon Blood or scales as gratitude for saving his life.
But later, for some unknown reason, the conflict escalated.
Leading to the development of true murderous intent and the use of a Forbidden Spell to destroy Ning Fan, causing Divine Power to lose control and backfire.
If there was a remedy for regret, upon waking up, the Black Dragon would definitely have fled far away, not dealing with this pest, but now it's all too late.
"It's not your fault. It's all my mistake."
Hearing the Black Dragon's words, Ning Fan's eyes showed a hint of surprise; he didn't expect this brute to admit defeat so quickly.
"Did you really realize your mistake?"
Ning Fan was somewhat disbelieving, knowing well the nature of the Black Dragon.
The Black Dragon said softly, "Really."
Despite questioning whether the Black Dragon truly understood its mistake, Ning Fan intended to clarify things,
It was one thing to repay kindness with resentment, but shifting blame onto himself was a burden he refused to bear.
"As long as you understand."
"I truly understand."
The Black Dragon's tone shifted, hesitantly asking, "But... what do I do now?"
"I don't know that."
Ning Fan shrugged, expressing helplessness.
Beyond using spiritual power for consolation, he indeed had no other solutions.
Hearing this, the Black Dragon was dumbfounded, staring hopefully at Ning Fan.
The look in its eyes was no longer doubtful but pleading.
"Don't look at me like that. I really can't help."
Noticing the Black Dragon's eyes turn moist like spring water, Ning Fan's skin crawled; he was extremely uncomfortable with this tender side of the Black Dragon, no matter how he looked at it, it felt too incongruous.
After a moment of silence, the Black Dragon suddenly asked, "Where are you going now?"
Ning Fan's eyes twitched, "Of course, I'm going home."
"Home?"
The Black Dragon looked at the sky, seemingly trying to find his own homeland, "Can I go home with you?"
"You're kidding, right?"
Though he expected it, hearing it for real, Ning Fan was still taken aback, wondering internally, "Is it really that painful?"
The greatest pain Ning Fan experienced in his life was likely the Demon Dragon Refining Kill Formation; it was truly unbearable.
But if someone tried to control him by this means, Ning Fan would rather suffer endlessly than compromise.
In this regard, the Black Dragon clearly had no principles, for survival... no, to make himself more comfortable.
All Dragon Clan pride and Divine Spirits dignity were tossed aside.
"Stop joking."
Ning Fan shook his head, "If you use Forbidden Spells again, who could handle it? Don't follow me."
The Black Dragon hastily said, "I won't."
"Can I trust you?"
The Black Dragon softly replied, "I can't use Divine Power now, so you don't need to worry."
"Even if I trust you."
Ning Fan glanced at the Black Dragon, mountain-sized, shaking his head, "But at your size, stepping out would scare people to death."
If the Black Dragon dared to show itself, it would be like that movie called Godzilla; undoubtedly, he'd be met with missiles.
Even if the Black Dragon could speak, conversations could resolve misunderstandings.
